Scheduler jobs, close-of-business steps, catch-up, and run history.
Open System → Jobs (or Ctrl+K and type "jobs"). You need READ_SCHEDULER to view the list. UPDATE_SCHEDULER lets you start or stop the scheduler, edit schedules, toggle jobs active, and change close-of-business steps. EXECUTEJOB_SCHEDULER lets you run a job now, run loan COB catch-up, or run close of business for specific loans.
The screen has two tabs: Scheduler jobs and Workflow.
Scheduler
The scheduler is either Active (cron jobs run as scheduled) or Standby (scheduled runs wait). Stop it only for maintenance — jobs that are already running will finish. You can still Run now while it is on standby.
A queue badge shows how many jobs are currently running. The list auto-refreshes every 30 seconds.
Loan COB catch-up
When loans lag behind the close-of-business date, Run catch-up processes each missed day until they catch up. The panel shows whether catch-up is running, the date being processed, and the oldest processed date next to the current COB date. If this banking server is not the batch manager, a run will say so instead of starting.
Scheduler jobs
- Search jobs by display name or cron expression.
- Toggle the active switch to enable or disable a scheduled job.
- Edit a job to change its display name, cron expression, or active flag.
- Run now opens a sidebar. Leave parameters empty unless the job expects named values (name and value pairs the banking service passes through). The button is disabled while that job is already running.
- View history to see recent runs, status, and error logs.
If a job shows a Config error badge, Fineract could not initialize it
(initializingError is set). Fix the underlying configuration before expecting
the job to run successfully.
Workflow (close of business)
Pick a workflow job such as loan close of business. The ordered steps are what that job runs each day. Move steps up or down, remove one, or add an unused step from the list Fineract offers. Save writes the new order.
When the job has an inline run (loan COB), enter loan IDs and Run for loan IDs to process those loans immediately.
Maker-checker
When maker-checker is enabled on the tenant, job updates may queue for approval in the Checker Inbox instead of applying immediately.

/system/jobs?tab=workflow.
