Dashboard

Office- and currency-scoped portfolio figures — clients, outstanding, overdue, PAR, operations, and organization.

Home is the Dashboard. Open it from Quick access in the sidebar, the Home control in the top bar, or Ctrl+K and type “dashboard”. The page is office-scoped: pick an office when you can see more than one, and every tile follows that office. When the institution permits more than one currency, a currency picker sits next to it — money tiles (outstanding, overdue, PAR, pending amounts, disbursements, expected collections, savings, product mix) count only accounts in that currency. The default is the first currency the organisation has permitted. The address bar keeps ?office= and ?currency= so a bookmark reopens the same branch and book.

Figures are computed on the server from the banking service. They use the selected currency code and the business date when that feature is on (otherwise today’s calendar date). Client, staff, office, and checker counts stay office-scoped only — they are not money. Tiles you are not allowed to see stay hidden. If a figure cannot be loaded it shows as Unavailable on that tile — the rest of the page stays up. The dashboard does not invent a number. If your role cannot read clients, loans, savings, collections, or the checker inbox, the page is empty.

Each tile is a card. Click it to open the matching screen.

Clients

You need client-viewing permission.

  • All clients — everyone in this office.
  • Active clients — status Active.
  • Inactive clients — not currently Active (pending, closed, and the rest).
  • New this month — activated in the current month.

All four open Clients.

Loan outstanding

You need loan-viewing permission. Amounts are on active loans in the selected currency.

  • Principal outstanding, Interest outstanding, Charges outstanding, and Total outstanding.
  • The hint under each amount is how many accounts contribute.

These tiles open Loans.

Overdue and risk

Same loan permission. Overdue is money past due on active loans — that is not the same as portfolio-at-risk.

  • Principal / interest / charges / total overdue — arrears on active loans.
  • PAR 30 — outstanding of active loans that are 30 or more days past due, as a percent of total outstanding. A loan that is one day late is overdue but is not PAR 30. This tile opens Portfolio health for PAR 60, PAR 90, product mix, and days-past-due bands.
  • Overpaid loans — count of loans in Overpaid status. Opens loans.

Operations

Tiles appear only when your role can see that work.

  • Pending approval — submitted loan applications (amount and count).
  • Pending disbursal — approved, not yet disbursed.
  • Disbursed today — on the business date.
  • Disbursed this month — in the current month.
  • Expected collections — due on the as-of date from the individual collection sheet. Opens Individual collection sheet.
  • Savings balances — active savings accounts. Opens Savings.
  • Checker inbox — commands waiting for a checker. Opens the checker queue.

Pending and disbursement tiles open loans.

Organization

  • Offices — count in your hierarchy. Opens Offices.
  • Staff and Loan officers — active employees. Opens Employees.

Loan product mix

When there are active loans, a chart groups outstanding by product (smaller products can roll into Other). The same mix, with PAR 60/90 and days-past-due bands, is on Portfolio health.

What stays hidden

The Dashboard does not invent totals you cannot read. Without READ_CLIENT the client cards are gone; without READ_LOAN the loan, overdue, PAR, and mix blocks are gone; savings, collections, checker, offices, and staff follow their own permissions. Portfolio health itself requires loan-viewing permission.

The footer repeats the office name, the selected currency code, the as-of date, and that your session is held on the server.
