Frequent postings
Post a balanced journal from a saved accounting rule.
Open Frequent postings from Accounting (or press Ctrl+K and type "frequent posting"). You need journal-create permission to post.
This screen is for journals you post often with the same debit and credit pair. Pick an office, choose an accounting rule for that office, enter the amount and date, then post. The rule's debit and credit GL accounts are filled automatically — you only enter the amount once, and Fineract posts both sides at that amount.
Reference and comments are optional. Amounts use the currency code
(KES, not a symbol).
Before you post
- The office needs at least one accounting rule with a fixed debit account and credit account. Rules that only use tags cannot post from here.
- Enable a currency under Currencies if the currency picker is empty.
After a successful post you land on Journal entries with the new transaction open.
The address bar is Accounting › Frequent postings.
